CHEMICAL AWARENESS / CHEMICAL SPILL ERT:
This course is designed as part of the ERT initial training program and gives practical advice and demonstrations on how to deal with chemical spills.
Objectives:
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
• Identify chemicals in the workplace
• Respond to chemical spill incidents in a safe manner
• Use equipment competently
• Dispose of chemicals safely following clean-up
• Follow decontamination procedures

• Personal Protective Equipment / ERT Equipment
• Personal Protective Equipment donning exercises

Prerequisites:
Participants must have attended basic chemical awareness training.
