CONFINED SPACE:
This course trains people in procedures for working in confined spaces and also for the rescue of others.
Objectives:
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
• Understand the purpose & operation of gas detectors
• State the purpose of a confined space entry permit
• Understand the risks of working in confined spaces
• Fill out permits for working in confined spaces
• Describe the confined space rescue procedure
• Describe the responsibilities of the confined space entrant, observer and supervisor
